Privacy Policy
EasySSLSetup is designed with a privacy-first approach. The public tools are not intended to require visitors to send hosting passwords, CertSage passwords, account keys, SSL private keys, or other sensitive credentials.
The Read-Only SSL Checker sends the domain name you enter to the EasySSLSetup server. The server examines only publicly reachable DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, redirect, and certificate information. It also uses the connection's IP address for short-lived abuse prevention. Diagnostic results are kept in this browser's session storage so the GoDaddy wizard can reuse public findings; closing the browser session normally clears them.
The CertSage preparation helper reads your selected PHP file only in your browser and downloads a locally configured copy. It does not transmit or save that file in browser storage. Select only certsage.php, never keys or passwords. Practice Mode, the Troubleshooting Center, Glossary, Completion Report, and Product Preview run in the visitor's browser. The Product Preview's hosting-token field is disabled and does not transmit anything. The GoDaddy Setup Wizard can save non-secret setup details and progress in local storage so the visitor can continue later. That saved data stays on that device unless the visitor clears it.
The newer controlled-beta architecture is designed so SSL private keys remain on the customer's hosting account rather than being stored by the central EasySSLSetup service. Public activation is not enabled by this website package.
Beta feedback is sent using your own email app to rosenthalfiles@aol.com. EasySSLSetup does not use a public web form to collect that message. Your email provider and the recipient's email provider will process the message under their own privacy practices.
Do not enter passwords, private keys, API tokens, account keys, or other secrets into any public EasySSLSetup field or feedback email.
