EasySSLSetup provides beginner-friendly website security guidance, public diagnostics, setup tools, and product-preview materials. Information may need to be adapted to a hosting provider's current settings and requirements.
The Read-Only SSL Checker examines publicly available website and domain information. It does not log in to a visitor's hosting or registrar account, request credentials, or make DNS, hosting, certificate, or server changes. Results are a point-in-time diagnostic and can be affected by DNS propagation, caching, firewalls, and temporary network conditions.
The GoDaddy Setup Wizard is a guided workflow for the current guided setup path, including a separate browser-local tool that changes only the private-directory setting in the user’s supported official CertSage download. The Product Preview is presentation-only: its buttons change screens locally and do not contact a certificate authority, hosting provider, or cPanel account. References to automatic activation describe a controlled-beta product path and should not be read as a promise that public automatic activation is currently enabled.
Testing pages describe internal controlled test evidence and review results. They are not a third-party certification, warranty, or guarantee that every hosting environment will behave identically.
The public beta is pre-release software and may contain defects, incomplete instructions, or hosting-specific incompatibilities. Users should maintain a current backup, stop if their hosting screen does not match the instructions, and avoid guessing through a step they do not understand.
Users remain responsible for maintaining backups, confirming that instructions match their actual hosting setup, and reviewing changes made to their own hosting accounts. Server paths, DNS controls, and hosting features can differ between providers and accounts.
