About Practice Mode

What it does. Practice Mode walks you through the same order of steps as a real SSL setup, but with a fake training domain (example-site.com) instead of your real website. You rehearse each decision — from adding the domain in cPanel, to pointing DNS, to planning the private CertSage storage, to forcing HTTP to redirect to HTTPS — before anything real is touched.

Who it is for. Beginners who are nervous about changing a real website, and anyone doing an SSL setup for the first time who wants to understand the order of the process first.

When to use it. Before you run the real Setup Wizard. It takes a few minutes and teaches you what "done" looks like, so the real setup feels familiar.

How it works. Eight short steps with examples on screen. The training IP address shown here (203.0.113.10) is from the range reserved for documentation — it can't reach a real server, so the practice is safe by design.
